    See amazing radio controlled warbirds take to the air in dramatic fashion! You will laugh, You will cry as this cinema-graphic masterpiece captures all that occurred at the warbirds event hosted by the Somerset Signal Senders at North Branch Park in NJ.

  • Gene’s Large RC WWI Eindecker

    Scratch built WWI Eindecker flown at Somerset Signal Senders Opening Day 2016.

  • Gene’s Nieuport 11 Long Island WWI Dawn Patrol

    Model started out as a 1/3 scale Nieuport 17 from Balsa USA and was redesigned into a Nieuport 11 by Gene Gavin. He used a Zenoah G-62 and SolarTex for covering. Roundels and Indian head marking all hand painted.

  • Gene’s Pfalz EII Long Island WWI Dawn Patrol 2014

    Model was designed and built by Gene Gavin it is 1/3 scale and has a wing span of 132". The engine is a DLE 111 twin turning a 29-10 prop. It is covered with Solartex including the insignia and weighs 44lbs.
